Maame Agyei, the founder of Inspired Foundation, has always been driven by a deep sense of purpose and a heart for service. Originally from Ghana, Maame’s journey to becoming a changemaker began during her teenage years when she migrated to the United States to further her education and join her parents. Before her move, she lived with her grandmother, a woman whose kindness and dedication to giving back to the community left a lasting impression on Maame.

Inspired by her grandmother’s values, Maame founded Inspired Foundation during the global COVID-19 pandemic—a time when communities across the world were grappling with immense challenges. Reflecting on the motivation behind the foundation, Maame shares, “The pandemic showed us just how interconnected we all are and how crucial it is to extend a helping hand. Inspired Foundation is my way of giving back and creating opportunities for those who need them the most.”

Why Inspired Foundation Was Born
